Linda Branham is a local working musician and private single-Reed’s instructor. She currently is the Baritone Saxophonist and assistant coordinator of the internationally performing ‘Saint Louis Big Band’. She has also performed with ‘The Saint Louis Philharmonic’, ‘Thr Gateway City Big Band’, ‘ The Missouri All-Collegiate Band’, and multiple private and collegiate ensembles. Instrumental music director of the 1st Presbyterian Church of Union, Linda also teaches a studio of young clarinettists and saxophonists. Miss Branham has played in the Bands and Orchestra Pits for various musical stage productions . She has studied music education and clarinet and saxophone performance at East Central College, Central Methodist University, and is finishing her degrees at University of Missouri- Saint Louis and has aspirations to become a Jazz and Classical music history Professor and to eventually perform overseas.
